Assessment Officer Hourly Rate: £18.56 PAYE
Location: Oxford City WFH after training
Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (16 hours per week, flexible on Thursday and Friday)
Ideally looking for a candidate who is able to work Thursday and Friday but can be flexible - 16 hours per week
Successful candidate must pass a clear Enhanced DBS with Children's and Adults Barred
Experience working with vulnerable people would be a huge benefit
We are seeking an Assessment Officer for an immediate start in a temporary ongoing role within the Housing Needs Team at a local authority. This position is ideal for an experienced housing professional or someone with similar experience working with vulnerable individuals and a knowledge of housing processes. The role involves rapidly assessing and prioritising housing applications to support customers in need and prevent homelessness.
Day-to-day of the role: Rapidly process and assess a large volume of General Register and Transfer housing applications.
Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, ensuring accurate prioritisation of work to assist customers in housing need.
Attend mandatory in-person training within the first few weeks and participate in regular team and department meetings at the Town Hall.
