Assembly Operative

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a specialist manufacturer of garage doors, roller shutters, and composite doors, based in Tipton, West Midlands.

Due to increased workload, they are looking for a skilled Assembly Operative to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday (07:30am until 16:00pm) - Overtime is available and is paid at time-and-a-half.

Pay

£12.21 to £13.00 per hour (Dependent on experience)

General Duties

* Assembly of aluminium garage doors and roller shutters.

* Use of hand tools, including battery drills, alan keys, spanners, hammers, tape measure, and industrial stapelers.

* Use of a circular table saw when required.

* Sliding pieces of aluminium together and using industrial stapelers to join parts together.

* Working at a fast pace.

Requirements

* Previous experience within assembly or mechanical fitting is required.

* Experience working in a fast-paced environment, working to targets.

* Excellent attitude towards work.

* Strong attention to detail
