Assembly & Machine Operative Salary : Up to £15.50ph Location : Near Uxbridge, Buckinghamshire Hours : Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–Midday (37 hours per week) Start Date : ASAP Type : PermanentAre you confident reading engineering drawings and operating workshop machinery that requires co-ordinate input? Assembly & Machine Operative Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and build instructions
Operating machinery (e.g., pipe benders, presses, saws) by inputting co-ordinates or dimensions
Assembling metallic components using adhesives, fixtures, and handheld tools
Performing visual checks and ensuring parts conform to spec
Logging progress and traceability info using SAP (ERP system)
