Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time Asbestos Surveyor & Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be based in Yorkshire and bring both technical qualifications and practical experience in surveying and analytical duties, including four-stage clearances. The role involves travel across the region to carry out asbestos surveys and analytical assessments, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct management, refurbishment, and demolition asbestos surveys on domestic and commercial properties in accordance with HSG264.

* Carry out Four Stage Clearance procedures in compliance with HSG248.

* Perform air monitoring, fibre counting, leak/reassurance testing, and personal monitoring.

* Record and report survey and analytical data accurately using Alpha Tracker or similar data collection software.

* Communicate professionally with clients and contractors on-site.

* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with UKAS standards, HSE guidance, and company procedures.

Requirements:

* Location: Must be based in Yorkshire.

* Qualifications: BOHS P402, P403, and P404 (or RSPH equivalent).

* Experience: Minimum of 12 months practical experience in asbestos surveying and analytical work.

* Experience in commercial and domestic surveys preferred.

* If your surveying experience is domestic-only, please still apply – we are open to developing this further.

* Proven experience in conducting Four Stage Clearance procedures.

* Competency in using Alpha Tracker or similar asbestos reporting/data software.

* Strong understanding of current asbestos legislation, HSG264 and HSG248 guidance.

* Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently.

Desirable (But Not Essential):

* UKAS-accredited background.

* Experience working in high-risk or sensitive environments.

* Asbestos Awareness Training (for working in varied environments).
