Our Leicester based POS clients are looking for an Artworker to join their team in a. full time and permanent role.

Working as part of a small 2D team they will be producing high-quality 2D artwork layouts, schematics and instructions for internal and client use and preparing layout approved artwork ready for print.

Experience in an artworking role is essential preferably within POS and a knowledge of print production.

Skills

* Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).

* Good communication skills to liaise with team members.

* Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings.

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

* Understanding of the printing process including colour management, scaling and pre-press preparation – including transparency films for screen print.

* Ability to plan-up several sizes of artwork to optimise yield from materials.

* Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

* Obtain artwork and specifications.

* Seek and check for approval to continue at agreed stages.

* Proof reading artwork.

* Set artwork up for print.

* Creation of spec sheets to inform wider team of crucial details.

* Must be flexible for on-site working when needed to complete print deadlines.

* Maintain files and folders for version control
