We are seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Folkestone on a maternity cover contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality art education, fostering creativity and expression among students.
Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational art lessons across various mediums and techniques.
Encourage creativity and self-expression among students while teaching skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art forms.
Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their artistic growth.
Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity.
Organize and manage art supplies and resources effectively.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to organize exhibitions and art shows that showcase students' work.
Participate in departmental meetings and school training sessions.
