Our client is dedicated to redefining creative limits and delivering forward-thinking solutions. They are looking for a dynamic, highly collaborative Art Director to help drive the development of visual and verbal identities for new initiatives - from initial concept through final execution. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in high-impact projects within a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment.
It is initially a six-month contract with potential to be extended. The role is Hybrid, with one or two days a week being based in their London office. It is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
Accountabilities:
* Partner closely as an integrated Art Director to ideate and deliver compelling creative concepts across multiple channels-including digital, social media, display advertising, print, video, and animation.
* Contribute actively to the development of new propositions and products by collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to understand goals, target audiences, and shape key messaging and claims.
* Ensure all creative output is on-brand, upholding the client's visual and tonal standards while maintaining a high level of consistency and quality.
* Confidently present creative ideas and strategies to internal teams and stakeholders, clearly articulating the thinking behind your concepts.
* Oversee the full creative process-from brainstorming and concept development through to final execution and delivery-working in close coordination with a producer and reporting to the Creative Director.
* Remain adaptable and ready to contribute to additional projects as needed, supporting broader team objectives.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Demonstrated success as an Art Director, supported by a standout creative portfolio showcasing expertise in visual storytelling, brand development, and impactful communication.
* Skilled in transforming complex ideas and business challenges into clear, compelling, audience-focused creative solutions.
* Experienced in mentoring and guiding designers and copywriters to effectively execute a unified creative vision.
* Highly proficient in crafting persuasive creative presentations that communicate ideas clearly, meet brief objectives, engage stakeholders, and drive approvals.
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, contributing across all phases of the creative process-from concept to execution.
* Strong business acumen and adaptability, with the ability to respond to shifting priorities while upholding creative quality and brand consistency.
* Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, adept at juggling multiple projects within scope, timelines, and budget constraints.
* Passionate graphic designer with a keen eye for art direction, concepts, and visual storytelling.
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma, with deep knowledge of design fundamentals, typography, motion, and visual hierarchy.
* Proven experience in directing photoshoots and video productions to ensure creative alignment and high-quality outcomes.
* Expertise in developing and implementing cohesive brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all visual communications.
