Elevation Recruitment are working with a major supplier of temporary works solutions, to the UK Construction and Civils sectors.As Area Sales Manager you will play a crucial role in expanding their market presence and driving business growth across the Cambridge region.Area Sales Manager Responsibilities:• Identify and target potential clients in the construction, engineering, and related industries who require temporary works solutions• Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs and providing tailored solutions• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth• Collaborate closely with the design, supply, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction• Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and expand the network of contacts• Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and regular reports to the senior management teamArea Sales Manager Skills & Experience:• Proven track record in business development, preferably within the construction or temporary works / Hire industries• Strong understanding of temporary works, including design, supply, and installation processes - desirable• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers• Demonstrated ability to identify and convert sales opportunities, meeting or exceeding targets• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders• Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically• Willingness to travel as required
