You'll be working as an test engineer for a company with some exciting plans for growth and are just breaking into some Hydrogen technology. They are an automotive company who are well established in what they do and are about to start some new Hydrogen projects which you will play a key part within, this is a brand new sector for them. In this role you will be will be responsible for the development of their product range from concept through to completion.

You will be applicable to get an uncapped yearly bonus, this is dependent on personal and company performance (employees received a healthy bonus last year). You be also be rolled onto a really attractive pension scheme, one of the best I have seen….. Also you'll get an early finish on a Friday the role is a Monday to Friday position, hours of work are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1.30pm Friday.

What my client is looking for is a strong engineer, who ideally is coming from an automotive/motorsport/mechanical background with some exposure to testing. You'll be working within a small but skilled engineering team and will be the go to team on site for any problems which arise through the assembly and testing of the products. The role will be based within an R&D environment where you will be taking the lead on various projects to ensure they are meeting specification.

You'll need to have a positive 'can do' attitude to be a success in this role as you'll be given a lot of responsibility and autonomy in this role. You'll need to be able to hold technical conversations with other teams such as software engineers and design engineers, whilst reporting to the engineering manager.

The company is part of a huge global organisation of over 50,000 employees and have just started prototype work on a brand new project. This role will be challenging (in a good way) my client is looking to improve many aspects of the business to drive them into the future, this isn't something that happens overnight but they are on their way and you can be a key part of this journey…… the on site general manager and operations manager are infectious (again, in a good way) in their personalities and are brilliant to work with.
