Purpose of the position
* Propose technical solutions to address specific customer needs. Work with colleagues in the tender team to produce quotations and documents for metering and switchgear product range.
* Propose whole PSM offer to Consultants, End Users and Contractors.
* Visit key customers for training, product updates and project meetings.
* Visit project sites for commissioning, training and hand-over
Duties
* Preparation of tenders and quotes
* Attend pre and post tender meetings
* Attend pre-delivery project meetings
* Attend post-delivery project sites for commissioning, training and hand-over
* Utilise corporate tools (CRM, Support Line) to maintain technical support service levels
* Attend customer sites as an expert in fault finding, commissioning and supporting CIM team.
* Provide internal and external training for key stakeholders (sales team, CIM, system integrators, large customers)
* Specification and promotion with end users and consultants
Education & background required
* Curriculum typically required to access this type of position, in terms of vocational qualifications and years of work experience. Other atypical career paths may be accepted
* Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or HND in electrical engineering
* Electrical Trade qualification
