AOV Engineer (Smoke Vents, Fire Curtains, Car Park Extract Systems) Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum + Overtime + KPI Bonus
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading fire safety and ventilation specialist who are looking to add an experienced AOV Engineer to their mobile team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company with long-term commercial contracts across the M25 and London area.

Package Overview:

• Basic Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
  
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x rate for hours after 5:00pm
  
• Bonuses: Monthly KPI-related performance bonus
  
• Travel Pay: Included for jobs 1.5+ hours outside of London
  
• Company Van & Tools Provided
  
• Start Times:
  • 8:00am standard work
    
  • 5:00pm for out-of-hours shifts (on rotation)
    
• Work Pattern: 8-hour days + 2 hours paid travel – once the job is done, your day is done
  

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct service, maintenance, and fault-finding on AOV systems, fire curtains, and car park extract systems
  
• Ensure all work meets current fire safety and building regulation standards
  
• Diagnose and rectify technical faults across mechanical and electrical ventilation systems
  
• Accurately report and document all completed works
  
• Participate in a scheduled on-call/out-of-hours rota
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in AOV and smoke control systems
  
• Experience working on fire curtain systems and mechanical ventilation
  
• Good knowledge of fire safety compliance
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  
• Full UK driving licence required
  
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
  
• Willingness to work out-of-hours on a rotational basis
