Air Freight Operator – Exports
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

Our client, a top 25 global freight forwarder, is seeking a skilled and motivated Air Freight Export Operator to join their growing team in Uxbridge. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong operational background in air exports who is looking to join a supportive and ambitious environment.
As part of a small but experienced team, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of air freight export shipments from start to finish, with occasional involvement in import procedures as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Independently manage air export shipments from start to finish, including booking, shipment control, documentation, transport insurance, invoicing, and customs handling.
* Deliver excellent customer service, working closely with the Sales Department and attending client visits when required.
* Arrange and oversee Customs Clearances.
* Coordinate and communicate with UK and overseas offices, agents, and partners.
* Ensure accuracy, profitability, and compliance across all job files and reporting.
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, specifically with air exports.
* Proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual with a professional approach.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience with Cargowise One is highly desirable.
