Orion Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer on behalf of our Client, an Inverness based engineering firm providing a wide range of services including electrical, mechanical, fire, security, and renewable energy solutions.

This is a full-time, permanent position and will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across both commercial and residential projects throughout Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, service, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial properties
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to enhance system reliability and lifespan
Troubleshoot faults and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance
Comply with all relevant health and safety standards and company procedures
Provide exceptional customer service and professional advice to clients
Keep accurate service records and documentation
What We’re Looking For:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
F Gas Certification (essential)
Solid experience in installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on A/C and refrigeration systems
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
