Would you relish the opportunity to support and take ownership of the administration and smooth running of processes for a busy company with 11 employees? We are looking for a positive and pro-active person who is a flexible, hands-on individual who thrives in a busy multi-tasking environment.

Here you will work in a well-established, independent company with over 200 years of industry experience in the financial services industry. This is an interesting and exciting area of Insurance and the knowledge you will learn is continual. There is lots of room for growth and development within this role.

You will support the Directors, Operations Manager and insurance claims handlers. You will take ownership of essential and crucial administrative workflows. This is a very varied role with lots of administrative tasks to keep you busy and challenged.

  • Invoicing
  • Timesheet collation and tracking
  • Document management for case files
  • 1st port of call for inbound calls from Customers, Brokers and Supplier liaison
  • Varied office duties aligned with office management

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Proficient to a basic level of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of basic financial / accounting practices
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with customers/clients
  • Database / Portal experience
