Job Vacancy: Administrator (Band 3)

Location: BT35 - Newry
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday)

We are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join our dynamic Health & Social Care teams across the Southern Trust! These full-time positions will be based in either Hospital or Wellbeing Treatment facilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced office environment and are passionate about making a difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:


  • Efficiently input and extract patient & service user information
  • Handle calls and resolve queries
  • Prioritize and schedule appointments and admissions
  • Maintain diaries and manage incoming mail/emails
  • Communicate effectively with clinical, social care, mental health, and administrative management teams
  • Prepare statistical information and manage filing systems
  • Take minutes and notes as required
  • Manage caseloads effectively

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 12 months' experience in an administrative or clerical role
  • GCSEs in Maths & English (or equivalent)
  • Minute-taking experience is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Experience in healthcare administration (preferred)
  • Familiarity with healthcare administrative processes is advantageous
  • Proactive attitude towards ongoing learning and development
