About the Role:
A reputable accountancy practice based in Leigh-on-Sea is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to advance their career in accountancy, providing support to senior accountants and managing a variety of client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
Support senior accountants in managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality accounting services.
Conduct bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records for clients.
Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries.
Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting processes and systems.
Participate in audits and provide support during audit processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA with relevant experience in an accountancy practice.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
