Accounts Assistant

Our client, a successful and well-established business based in East Cardiff, is looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role is part of a small, close-knit finance team and reports to a supportive and diligent Accounts Manager.
As part of a wider group of businesses, the company offers great opportunities to develop your skills and gain exposure to other areas of finance over time.
A key focus of this role is credit control, so some experience—and an interest—in this area is important. The role involves working with bespoke systems, so confidence with financial software would be beneficial. Additionally, there will be opportunities to get involved in wider finance projects from time to time, so a willingness to learn and contribute across the team is highly valued.

The Job
Credit Control Support: Work alongside our automated systems to assist with credit control processes in a professional and customer-focused manner. You’ll also be encouraged to identify and suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency of our automated workflows.
