About the Client
My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft, and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe, and sustainable air travel. They are looking to hire an experienced Account Manager to join on a contract basis for 3 months, with a view to extend.
About the Role
As an Account Manager you will working under the HAL ITO account, achieve the strategic, financial and customer satisfaction objectives for the contract.
This role will help shape the sales/account strategy to achieve revenue and profit growth of the Business in line with the Heathrow Commercial Telecoms strategic plans and manage performance of the sales objectives both personally and across the team.
Key Duties
• Support the Sales Development Plan and driving implementation in line with overall strategic approach of the business.
• Protecting and extending existing products and services in line with Heathrow Commercial Telecoms Business Plan. This includes both annual revenues as well as continued improvements in customer engagement processes via both the onshore and offshore account team.
• Be personally responsible for several large accounts, annual revenue and overall customer satisfaction and relationships.
• Own the monthly reporting of key performance metrics related to Commercial Telecoms sales and accounts.
• Extending Commercial Telecoms market share within the account base and to increase the footprint of customers across the Heathrow’s set of Tenants.
• Managing and nurturing customer relationships at all levels of Heathrow IT, Commercial Business Development and Heathrow Commercial Telecoms Clients
• Driving Customer services and operations with regular reviews
• Act as single point of contact for escalations from sales team members.
• Support account team members towards promoting value and benefit of Commercial Telecoms solutions and portfolio.
• Managing, coaching, and mentoring the account team towards a stable growth and high level of customer loyalty
• Contribute to the team’s overall innovation agenda with constructive ideas and solutions.
• Support the Marketing and Product activities of the overall team.
• Work with our suppliers to ensure that all jobs in our pipeline are delivered on time and quality.
• The role will require extensive relationships and understanding of Heathrow, process owners and key stakeholders.
What we are looking for
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to demonstrate fundamental account management and sales techniques, such as:
• Listening to and understanding specific customer business requirements.
• Ability to clarify business requirements and offer appropriate and relevant options/solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of the aviation industry and the operation of a large international airport would be desirable.
• Good time management and prioritisation skills.
Ability to work with Microsoft Office software, such as:
• Excel
• Word
• PowerPoint
• Outlook
• Teams
Ideally previous understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases, such as:
• Salesforce
Candidates must be willing to work 3 days per week at Heathrow Airport, 2 days remote working
