7.5t Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting for 7.5t drivers for our public sector client to be based in the Edinburgh area supporting a busy waste and cleansing department.

Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Hours of Work: 4 days on 4 days off 06.00-17.02 with 45min break
Rate of Pay: £13.48 - £15.08 per hour
Temporary ongoing work

Duties to Include: Driving the relevant vehicles (cage vehicle, litter press, hako, sweeper)
Working as part of a team
Heavy lifting - moving and loading, assisting with special uplifts
Undertaking the appropriate vehicle checks and paperwork
General street cleaning duties (sweeping, litter picking, weeding)

Essential requirements: Valid 7.5t/C1 Driving Licence
Valid CPC Training Card
Valid Tacho Card
Maximum of 6 points on your licence
Successful candidates will: Be flexible
Be reliable
Have excellent knowledge on driving around Edinburgh
Be health and safety conscious
Have good customer service skills
Have previous driving experience
Work outdoors in all weather
