People Solutions are currently recruiting for an afternoon Van Driver to join our well-established client based in LEICESTER, EAST MIDLANDS . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
This role will be ongoing for the right candidate.
Day to Day Duties
Complete customer deliveries in a timely manner, whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines
Delivery of products in accordance with the order to the customer
Unloading and loading goods on pallets / loose
Make deliveries to residential properties
Provide excellent customer service skills
Essential Skills
Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence
Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving C1 vehicles
Clear licence
Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
Effective communication skills
Good customer service skills
Previous multi drop experience
Time management, route planning, general vehicle knowledge
Desirable Experience
12+ months multi drop experience
Has worked in a similar fast paced delivery environment
Training
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
