Job Title: SMC 1st Line Operator
Location: Unit 19, St Andrews Way, London, E3 3PA (Hybrid after training)
Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension/temp-to-perm opportunity)
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off (includes nights and weekends); Training: Mon-Fri, 9am–5pm
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for two SMC 1st Line Operators on behalf of Yunex, part of Siemens UK – a global infrastructure group.
This role is essential in supporting the operation and maintenance of London’s critical road charging and traffic management infrastructure. The successful candidates will play a vital role in monitoring live traffic systems, ensuring fault management, and providing first-line support to meet strict service levels.
This position would be well-suited to candidates with experience in roles such as 1st Line Support Technician, Desktop Support Technician, Service Desk Analyst, or similar IT support environments—particularly those who are confident working with incident management systems and have a strong eye for detail in technical monitoring scenarios.
