Work Coach

The company
A Leading educational institution in the UK, with a reputation for providing and delivering a variety of vocational and academic courses across their multiple campuses. Now seeking Job Coach to join on a temporary basis in the Wychavon District.
The role
A Job Coach to join the team at their campus based in the Wychavon District in Worcestershire for a 2-month period.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30
Contract Duration: 2 months commencing beginning of September
Pay rate: �15-�25 p/hr (Flexible)

You will take responsibility for:

• Crafting tailored job coaching and employment strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Teaching and evaluating employability qualifications to help students prepare for the workforce and
• Engaging with students to identify their aspirations and assisting them in setting and achieving personal goals.
• Identifying students' strengths and coaching them on how to leverage these effectively in the workplace.
• Supporting students with disabilities by enhancing their social and life skills and advising on necessary workplace accommodations. Occasional visits to work placements will be required.
• Tracking and assessing student progress, maintaining thorough documentation, and preparing detailed reports.

What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Proven experience in education and working with young people with learning disabilities.
• A solid understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students and helping them navigate personal and professional challenges.
• The ability to develop and implement effective job search strategies and motivational techniques.

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Previous experience working as a work coach in a college/high education environment
