JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently recruiting for a Wide Slitter Setter Operator for our client based in the Oldbury area. Leading to a permanent role after a successful trial period.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate wide slitters to precise specifications.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and consistency.
Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Wide Slitter Setter or similar role.
Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm.
Friday 8am - 12pm.
Rate of Pay:
£14 - £14.50 per hour based on experience.
