Ward Manager - Permanent position

Athona are looking for a Ward Manager for a permanent vacancy within a high dependency rehabilitation unit based in Gosport.

You must have inpatient experience including leadership and management. The role is well supported by an established, professional and friendly MDT. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills and be a role model to others to join a highly motivated and enthusiastic team.

As well are providing direct management supervision to two deputy ward managers, a significant part of this role is leading the team and managing the running of the wards.

You will be covering two wards, with the support of your deputies (one for each ward) and the Director of Clinical services.

The role duties include planning, overseeing and co-ordinating the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment plus responsibility for staffing, rota management and ensuring the ward complies with statutory regulations, current legislation and meets quality standards.

The role is Monday to Friday,

Salary - £44375 - £50329 (dependant on experience).
