Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Stonehouse
Pay Range/details: £27,000
Contract Type: 6 month FTC
Omega has an exciting opportunity to join an International brand leading UK manufacturer based in Quedgeley.
We are looking for an experienced and competent Technical Writer to revamp existing work instruction documentation for various production cells.
Key Responsibilities – Technical Writer
Work through a predefined list of products, updating the Work Instructions Understand assembly processes by observing the production teams in all areas
Utilise the knowledge of the Production Engineering team
Interpret Bill of Materials
Work alongside HSE Manager to ensure all health and safety requirements are included
Include feedback from audits in work instructions
Generate matrices to support the revamp of work instructions
Load work instructions onto Sharepoint for review and approval
Complete daily and weekly tracking
Qualifications & Requirements – Technical Writer
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable analysing, preparing and presenting data
Proficient in oral and written communication skills
