THE COMPANY
Our client is a global broadcaster of live sporting events.
THE ROLE
As Technical Operations Coordinator, you will be working as a team of two, coordinating work and scheduling the creative and technical services personnel and facilities responsible for completing it.
Key responsibilities:
Typing, editing and distributing schedules both internally and externally.
Organise travel arrangements and accommodation for both talent and crew.
Assisting other team members and talent, where required.
Book and arrange satellite/fibre operations; booking feeds and where necessary equipment and staff for each live feed.
Liaise with internal and external clients; ensuring the maintenance of regular records/updates.
Work closely with team members to schedule resources for the live and post-production workflow.
Maintain an accurate record of department spend and allocation within budget.
Manage demand during peak periods out of hours, including weekends during major festivals.
THE PERSON
For this role, it would be ideal if candidates have a basic understanding of satellite and fibre operations, along with experience of studio facilities.
It is important that you can work autonomously, and have had some experience working within a budget.
Lastly, an interest in racing and live sport would be highly desirable.
