There will be a focus on statutory and mandatory estate compliance. The role is to assure that technical standards are maintained for all Core and Billable works delivered by the industry partners as part of multi-million pound Facilities Management contract.You will work collaboratively with the Facilities Management industry partners to deliver a technically compliant estate, formulating approaches and plans to continually improve compliance.This is a hybrid role that will involve working in the office 3 days. Candidates also need to be aware that there will be occasional travel with a small number of nights away being likely each month.YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :
As the Building / Construction Services expert you will provide direct technical support to the Estate Teams, the role will work collaboratively with the Hard Facilities Management industry partners to deliver a technically compliant estate, formulating approaches and plans to continually improve compliance The role will provide and implement compliance recommendations and provide innovation in respect of technical reports for senior management, liaising as necessary with Technical Services for depth technical support for Building / Construction issues The Technical Officer ( Building and Construction ) will provide and implement compliance recommendations and provide innovation in respect of technical reports for senior management. YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :
Previous experience of providing technical advice on construction / property / facilities management projects from a building / construction perspective Experience of providing technical advice and guidance on both statutory and mandatory estate compliance from a building / construction / property perspective The ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders at a technical level, providing clear and accurate guidance
