Our client, a leading global manufacturer, are looking for an enterprising clerical professional to join their busy Technical Administration team.
The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable, accomplished Technical Administrator who enjoys working collaboratively. Your role will be to provide clerical support the Engineering, QA and Operations teams. Together with your colleagues, you will provide an excellent service within a forward-looking organisation to the highest possible standard.
This is an office-based role, working 39.75 hours per week with a flexible working pattern based around the core hours of 9.00am - 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9.00am - 3.00pm (Friday).
As Technical Administrator, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Carrying out a wide range of technical administrative duties such as route validation and engineering change requests
Providing document control maintenance
Maintaining the asset calibration register and arranging calibration services as appropriate
Assisting with processing customer returns when required
Collecting data for continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to streamline procedures
Liaising between the planning and engineering teams
Updating records on internal systems
We're looking for an Administrator with the following skills and experience:
Previous administrations experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Demonstrates first class internal and external customer service
High degree of IT proficiency; confident in the use of MS Office. Use of additional manufacturing /ECN systems would be beneficial.
Well organised individual with accurate and methodical data entry skills
Confidently communicates with colleagues in a professional, helpful and approachable manner, both verbally and in writing
Enjoys working at pace in a busy setting, using initiative where required
