Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Geography? We are looking for a dynamic Teacher of Geography to join our vibrant secondary school in Hackney. This is an incredible opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Teacher of Geography Responsibilities:

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and share best practices.
• Support extracurricular activities related to Geography.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.

Teacher of Geography Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

Candidates must have QTS – without QTS, they will not be considered.

Candidates must have a Degree or PGCE in Geography – A Humanities Degree or PGCE will not be considered.
