As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the Qualification of design changes and ensuring the release of major platform Capability to the Typhoon Core Nations and our Export Customers.
Your work within the AJT-SE team will directly influence the success of our program.
Responsibilities
Generate and review Qualification Programme Plans (QPP).
Issue Test Requirement Documentation (TRD) to define system testing requirements.
Work closely with the Safety team to determine Safety Critical Function Chains (SCFC).
Issue Requests for Test (RFT) and Requests for Flight Data (RFFD).
Liaise with SI testing teams, Avionics Sub-System teams, and Flight Test/Ops teams to understand requirements and address any arising issues.
Conduct and co-ordinate reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide feedback to the wider team.
Ensure full traceability between initial requirements, contract requirements, test requirements, and the evidence set used to satisfy them.
Requirements
A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience
Strong Systems Engineering background from either Aerospace or Defense sectors
Knowledge of the Typhoon platform
Proven experience of working with equipment ICDs and definition of Logical signal level information
Experience in requirements management.
