As part of our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our tech team in building scalable, secure, and reliable legal tech solutions. This role is key to our mission of pushing technological boundaries within the legal space.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of talented software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Project Oversight : Drive the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
Technical Leadership : Provide hands-on technical guidance and strategic insight on system architecture, code quality, and best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with legal, product management, and other internal teams to gather requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Innovation & Growth : Champion the adoption of new technologies and processes to maintain our competitive edge in the legal tech landscape.
Quality Assurance : Oversee the development of robust, scalable, and secure code, prioritising user experience, performance, and security.
Recruitment & Development : Play a pivotal role in expanding the engineering team, identifying top talent, and fostering their professional growth within the organisation.

Requirements :

Experience : 5+ years in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial capacity.
Legal Tech Experience : Previous experience working in the legal tech or related industries is highly advantageous.
Leadership : Proven track record of successfully leading, mentoring, and managing high-performing engineering teams.
Project Management : Demonstrated ability to deliver complex engineering projects with strong attention to detail and time management.
Communication : Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively between technical and non-technical teams.
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of the legal industry and familiarity with legal workflows and processes.
Experience working with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools.
Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and security protocols in the legal space.
