Service Charge Accountant - Hybrid - Chingford - £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
My client is a boutique and well established block management firm based in Chingford
with a fast growing portfolio. They are on the lookout for a motivated Service Charge Accountant to join their team.
Duties:
- Reconciling Client bank accounts and applying Leaseholder payments
- Raising and issuing of service charge and ground rent demands
- Assisting the Accountants with the preparation of year end files and reports and filing residential management company accounts online
- Processing Invoices
- Producing year-end forecasted expenditure reports, estimated Service Charge budgets and summary letters for property managers, senior managers, and Clients approval
- Entering accruals and prepayments as and when required throughout the year
- Regular review of income, expenditure, and cash flow of blocks
- Preparation of periodic income and expenditure reports
- Assisting with preparation for AGM's where required in a financial capacity
- Being first point of contact for contractor payment related enquires
- Paying Invoices
Requirements:
- At least 1 Years' Service Charge Accounts experience required
- Highly organised and attention to detail
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written
- Good communications skills with customers, clients and other members of staff
- Good knowledge of Microsoft software
Hours: Monday to Friday either 9am to 5.30pm, or 8.30am to 5pm
Location: office based in Chingford 2 days per week, 3 days per week from home
Holidays: 25 days holiday (increasing to up to 30 days a year) plus all bank holidays
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000
