Senior Solutions Engineer in the UK
to focus on our Strategic Telco Accounts
As a Splunk
Senior Solutions Engineer
, you’ll be the deep-dive technical sales resource for the UK Sales team supporting our Telco clients across the region. This role has a specific focus on Telecommunications where you’ll be the subject matter expert for our team both in terms of the technical aspects of our products and telco domain expertise.
SEs must be comfortable building rapport with technical champions, augmenting the account team and serving as a trusted advisor within the accounts that they touch. Developing and owning technical proof activities to advance expansion opportunities, as well as drive product adoption.
All Splunk SEs answer technical questions from customers regarding Splunk technology, features, solutions, applications as well as articulating Splunk technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
Adept at designing solutions and scoping proof events using Splunk products and Services that align with a customer’s desired business outcomes and demonstrate quantifiable, measurable value
Ability to demonstrate Splunk products and services to customers on site, remotely via webinar sessions, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
You should have experience with discovering operational pains and determining value with customers.
Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle not only with our customer's technical staff, but also internally.
Provide technical expertise in the security arena and be the go-to person for the wider SE team
Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology.
Strong presentation skills and be able to communicate clearly and professionally to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
Work closely with the presales team and presales management to develop and continually improve working practices, standard methodologies, presales processes.
A knowledgeable understanding of the Telco space.
A proven track record with Splunk (or competitive) products
Proactive and self-sufficient personality, who is not afraid to own strategies and drive engagements with partners and customers. As well as bridging the gap between the partners and the account teams.
