Senior Security Engineer

Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.We’re actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our clients’ dynamic and growing team in a highly secure global SaaS organization. This role will cover a wide array of security areas across our SaaS environments, as well as corporate domains and will require a skilled and dynamic individual to spearhead efforts in fortifying both infrastructure and application platforms, against potential threats.ResponsibilitiesImmerse yourself in the client’s existing infrastructure and application architecture. Understand the nooks and crannies—the systems, databases, and interconnections.Security Design AdvocateReview emerging technologies and methodologies. When feasible, introduce integration opportunities that enhance our security posture.Enhance our clients’ security detection capabilities and fine-tune their incident response playbooks. Monitor security events, remediate vulnerabilities, and report on incidents. Network management to bolster security across our clients’ network tools.Assisting with activities related to certifications—whether it’s PCI DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, or other compliance standards.Guide junior team members, helping them sprout their security wings. What we are looking for:Hands-On Experience, a minimum of 5+ years of proven industry experience in a similar role. We want someone who has been in the trenches, battling cyber threats firsthand.Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Industry certifications including, CISSP, CISM,CEH,ECSA, OSCP and AWS Certified Security.Your brain is a vault of security principles, technologies, and best practices. Threat detection and mitigation strategies? You’ve got those down tee.Cloud security architecture (think AWS, Azure) is your playground. You’ve covered platforms from Windows to Linux, ensuring our clients’ defences are rock-solid.Confidentiality, integrity, and availability—You’ve safeguarded data throughout its lifecycle, from transmission to storage and processing.Problem-solving? Your passion for security shines through.Independence and creativity are your allies. But you’re also a team player—clear communication and collaboration are your secret weapons.Complex projects don’t scare you; they energize you. You take ownership and see things through.Advantageous Skills/Experience:You’ve battled through diverse projects, wielding multiple security tools. Compliance with standards like PCI DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC, HIPAA, and IRAPNetwork protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and WAFs—these aren’t foreign concepts to you.GDPR, NIST, SOC2—you know the security compliance standards.You’ve conducted internal pen tests and scoped out external ones.Securing code reviewsManaging and enhancing cryptographic practicesNote to Applicants: Research shows that women often only apply for jobs if they meet 100% of the qualifications listed.
