Senior Partnerships Manager - EFLThe English Football League (EFL) is the largest single body of professional clubs in European football and is responsible for administering and regulating the Sky Bet EFL, Sky Bet Play-Offs, Carabao Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy competitions.In recent seasons, the EFL has significantly developed and diversified its commercial operation. Successful implementation of a new commercial strategy has delivered record revenues across the Broadcast, Digital, Partnerships and Licensing verticals. This includes the launch of a global, direct to-consumer live streaming service and partnerships with some of the world’s biggest brands.There is now an opportunity for an individual with a proven track record and background in managing and delivering partnerships in sport to join the team as a Senior Partnerships Manager.Purpose of the role: The successful candidate will be expected to develop and ‘own’ a high-performing partnership management unit. The Senior Partnerships Manager will be responsible for managing, guiding and providing hands on support to the Partnerships team to manage partnerships, implement rights and reporting that delivered for Partners’ objectives.Key responsibilities: Manage, organise and administer the delivery of rights to some of the EFL’s highest profile partners, supporters, suppliers and licensees.Work with partners and your team to deliver partners activation goals.Organise and deliver sponsor related events and activities.Establish a detailed understanding of commercial partners marketing and strategic plans.Develop, deliver and review campaigns for partners.Manage and track partner budgets, ensuring contractual obligations are delivered to the highest standard. Be a senior point of contact for partners and lead on delivering all commercial rights.Coordinate and manage reporting, results and case studies that relate to partner KPIs and objectives.Key requirements:Proven experience managing and activating partnerships in the sports industry. Experience managing a team. Excellent understanding and experience of management of partnership contractsA thorough understanding of maintaining and developing high profile partnership rights and what that involves throughout a contract termExcellent analytical, reporting and presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsPerformance-driven, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment with strict timelinesThe Executives in Sport Group are retained on behalf of the EFL to appoint a Senior Partnerships Manager.
