As Beazley Security, these values will continue to thrive, with an extra emphasis on expansion of our capabilities and capacity in helping solve unique client challenges.Job Description:As a Senior IR Consultant at Beazley Security, you will play a critical role in helping our clients respond to and recover from cybersecurity incidents while also providing proactive guidance to enhance their overall security posture. This role requires deep expertise in digital forensics, incident response, and cybersecurity, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Incident Response: Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for clients, including identifying, containing, and mitigating security incidents promptly.Digital Forensics: Conduct digital forensics investigations to determine the root cause, extent, and impact of security incidents and breaches.Incident Analysis: Analyze and interpret forensic data to provide insights into the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of threat actors.Evidence Preservation: Ensure the proper collection, preservation, and chain of custody of digital evidence during investigations.Malware Analysis: Analyze malware samples to understand their functionality and potential risks to the client's environment.Client Liaison: Maintain clear and frequent communication with clients during incident response engagements, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the process.Reporting: Prepare detailed incident reports, including findings, recommendations, and remediation strategies, for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Threat Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with the latest threat intelligence and trends to provide timely guidance and recommendations to clients.Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security analysts and engineers, to enhance incident response processes and capabilities.Qualifications:A minimum of 3+ of experience in incident response, digital forensics, or a related field.Industry certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, or CISSP are highly desirable.Proficiency in digital forensics tools and techniques, as well as incident response methodologies.Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, and cybersecurity concepts.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving threats and technologies.Beazley Security Offers:Competitive salary and bonus.Fully remote.Generous leave policies including 3 months paid paternal leave.Opportunities for career advancement and ongoing training.Beazley Security is an equal opportunity employer.
