Senior Energy and Emissions Advisor

Purpose of Role:
This role is a senior position in the HSE team and supports the Energy & Emissions Manager in the provision of principally the energy transition of the UK business.
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:
Support the Energy & Emissions Manager in the development and delivery of the UK Business Units climate change and energy transition commitments, enact the Company's net zero commitment and lead performance reporting and assurance in line with regulatory requirements and targets
Engage proactively with relevant stakeholders including partners, NSTA, OPRED, OEUK and NZTC.
Influence and collaborate so that energy transition risks and opportunities are reflected in business decisions.
Provide input and advice on asset lifecycle energy transition requirements and considerations in line with regulatory requirements and Company commitments to drive performance improvement.
The coordination and determination of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions forecasts to inform the net zero strategy, development opportunity scenario analysis, Company and asset annual scorecard content, long range planning, business development and field development plans.
