Are you passionate about data and want to drive impactful decisions in the transportation industry? I am looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join an innovative team for a transportation company in Welwyn Garden City. You will be required to be in the office once a week.

The Data Engineer will design and implement scalable data pipelines as well as optimising and managing databases to ensure data integrity.

Key skills the Senior Data Engineer will have:

• 4+ years experience as a Data Engineer
• Previous experience leading a team of junior data engineers and projects
• Excellent experience with python and azure technologies
• Proficient experience with Snowflake and Continuous integration / deployment technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform etc.)
• Familiar with cloud architecture, kafka and apache.

• Starting salary ranges from £50,000 - £70,000
