Senior Civil Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team. This exciting role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to further their career within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing highway projects including links, roads junctions, and walking/cycling routes
• Utilising AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MicroDraiange/InfoDrainage software for detailed design work and planning approvals
• Contributing to Section 278 and Section 38 agreements
• Ensuring all designs comply with current standards and regulations
• Collaborating closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and team members
• Managing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation for planning approval

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in the highways engineering sector
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Site3D
• Experience with designing and implementing highway links, roads junctions, and walking/cycling routes
• Understanding of Section 278 and Section 38 agreements
• Strong knowledge of planning approval processes and detailed design principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
