Senior Authorised Person /SAP - Data Centre - Barcelona

Salter Grange is partnering with an innovative international Engineering company specialising in Mission-Critical projects across Europe and beyond recruiting a Senior Authorised Person to join on a Data Centre project in Spain.
The ideal Senior Authorised Person will have a track record in project delivery and extensive knowledge of complex Electrical systems, preferably in Data Centres.
 
With a full order book for several years, this role offers significant opportunities for a capable Senior Authorised Person to contribute to the growth and expansion of the Business Unit.

Senior Authorised Person Responsibilities:

• Follow and check Electrical Safety Rules.
\n
• Cover all systems and installations.
\n
• Follow LV & MV systems procedures.
\n
• Manage authorised persons' appointments.
\n
• Execute switching plans for LV and HV/MV circuits.
\n
• Keep training records.
\n
• Ensure staff are trained.
\n
• Share information on restrictions and occurrences.
\n
• Manage electrical permits.
\n
• Conduct toolbox talks.
\n
• Prepare for power on.
\n
• Investigate equipment and incidents.
\n
• Notify the Designated Person of issues.
\n
• Review and approve switching schedules.
\n
• Provide safety and quality leadership.
\n
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date.
\n

 
Senior Authorised Person Requirements:

\n
• Trade background with 5 – 10 years of experience.
\n
• Proven record of managing large projects.
\n
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Quality compliance.
\n
• EU Passport
\n
