What You’ll Be Doing as an Accounts Senior:

\n
• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
\n
• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
\n
• Managing bookkeeping tasks and preparing monthly/quarterly VAT returns
\n
• Compiling management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
\n
• Building strong client relationships and handling queries efficiently
\n
• Assisting in training and mentoring junior team members
\n
• Supporting managers with ad-hoc accounting tasks
\n

What We’re Looking For in an Accounts Senior:

\n
• AAT/ ACCA/ ACA qualified.
\n
• At least 6 years of experience in an accountancy practice
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
\n
• Experience with accounting software such as CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or Alphatax (preferred but not essential)
\n
• Excellent client relationship skills and a proactive work ethic
\n
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
\n
