This specialist school is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP (notice periods considered). The role is full-time (37.5 hours a week) Monday-Friday, and term-time only. The school is an inclusive and inspiring day and residential setting, supporting around 90+ children and young adults across two well-equipped, welcoming school buildings. Learners, aged 5-19, have moderate to profound complex needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Autism, so the school is looking for a nurturing, resilient, and supportive team member.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role is diverse and goes beyond academic support. This school is committed to making education accessible and enjoyable, while also focusing on the personal development, life skills, and overall well-being of each child. No two days are the same, and you will have the chance to make a real, lasting impact on the lives of many children.

This is a full-time, term-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Level 2 Diploma in teaching and learning (desirable not essential)
Experience working or volunteering with children or young adults

Must have: GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:
Supporting young people with complex needs in a education setting
