Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our very busy all-boys Liverpool secondary schools who are looking for a Full-Time School Receptionist to start ASAP on an ongoing basis with the opportunity to go perm.

The working day is 8am - 4pm, 38 hours per week, at a rate of £13.50 an hour.

To be considered for this position, in a busy Liverpool secondary school, you must be confident directing students and dealing with external visitors in addition to answering the phone, sending emails and being a personable individual, creating an excellent and positive impression.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and Reception support to a very busy secondary school.

Your role will include:

• Having experience working in a very busy Reception
• Being confident, personable and a positive person
• Managing communications with parents and staff
• Maintaining accurate records and databases
• Performing general office tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry
• Carrying out any other duties as assigned.

To be considered for this position you will need:

• Previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS or Arbor systems.
• Be a committed professional, who is organised, adaptable, enthusiastic and proactive.
• Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days' work)
• Have 2 satisfactory references.
• Have a CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK.
