Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer required for a global distributor of Mechanical Engineering products such as valves, pipes and fittings.
Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer will be responsible for preparing quotations and providing technical support for customers regarding the technical requirements of all products as well as sourcing new opportunities for sales with new and existing customers.
Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative will be able to commute to the office based near Falkirk and hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Automation Engineering such as a BEng / HND / HNC or similar discipline within engineering. Relevant experience will also be considered for this position.

Role:

• Prepare quotations for customers and provide technical support over the phone, face to face and via email.
• Offer technical solutions to customers and clients on different mechanical engineering products such as valves and pipes.
• Find new opportunities to increase sales with new and existing customers
• Work towards KPI’s and sales targets whilst maintaining accurate information on a CRM system
• Develop strong relationships with clients and attend client visits to follow up on orders
• Create documentation and guidance for clients to follow that is clear and easy to understand
• Produce regular reports for the Sales Manager

• Prior experience as an Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Applications Engineer/ Senior Sales Engineer / or similar
• An engineering qualification such as a BEng / HND / HNC or similar in Mechanical Engineering / Automation Engineering or a similar discipline within engineering
• Candidates who do not hold one of these qualifications but do have relevant experience from a similar role will also be considered for this role
