Registered Nurse - Learning Disability & Autism Service
Location: Kendal, Cumbria
Salary: £31,395 - £33,638 per annum + £5,000 welcome bonus
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)
Shifts: Options of Days only ( 8am - 8.20pm ) or Nights only ( 8pm - 8.20am ) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference

· An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced staff nurse to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive specialist service for 16 adults living with a learning disability and / or mental health needs. The Service provides a specialist provision with enhanced levels of support which allows people with continuing challenging behaviour and high support needs to be cared for in the least restrictive setting possible, but within a service which is robust and structured enough to meet their ongoing needs and risks.

· You will be working for an established, stable and agile company with a unique approach to the delivery of care. They are one of the UK's leading providers for mental health care.
· The Service has a strong commitment to provide support for newly qualified nurses. This is via a purpose built, structured and comprehensive preceptorship programme. The programme is completed over a 12 week period where you will be a fully supernumerary nurse. This allows you to fully immerse yourself into learning aspects of your new role, whilst having a nurse mentor to work alongside.
· A newly qualified or experienced Registered Nurse ( RMN, RNLD, RGN ) ? The Hospital welcomes applications from Mental Health Nurses, Learning Disability Nurses and General Nurses. Full training and support will be given by your own designated mentor.
· Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK?
