Contract role Inside IR35

£520 per day

6mths contract

The Opportunity

This is your opportunity to join one of the UKs major mobile network operators as they build the future of Radio networks

Working with the Head of Mobile Network Architecture, your role will be setting out the radio capability roadmap to meet business requirements.

You will be key contributor to the development of the 3- and 5-year RAN strategy plans

This is a hybrid opportunity, but 1-2 days in Reading will be expected each week.

Day to day

You will work on;

Defining the key requirements for the Radio RFI/RFPs
Evaluating the responses of vendors in detail
Identifying the gaps and strengths
Challenging and propose amendments to Radio's current plans and thinking
Work closely with vendors, review technical specifications and documents
Key point of contact for providing expert support for internal high level stakeholders

Your background:

This role has a strong blend of technical and commercial skills.

You will have subject matter expert level of experience on RAN technologies and the vendor ecosystem

You will have held a senior role that involves strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical ideas and concepts appropriately to audiences of varying technical background.

Strong understanding of Radio architecture for 4G/5G ORAN and traditional RAN networks is key.
