The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in Quantity Surveying within the Reinforced concrete Frames and Structures. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will play a key role in managing workloads and improving business efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact, with their skills and expertise valued by Senior Management.

Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
  • Collaborate with Pre-construction and Construction teams to develop and review tender submissions.
  • Analyse tender details and work with the team to formulate a suitable bid and procurement strategy.
  • Source quotes and manage procurement of materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Proficient in estimating project costs.
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQs) and perform material take-offs.
  • Present Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) to senior management.
  • Oversee project cost control and financial management from contract review to final account settlement.
  • Experienced in working with NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Handle contractual and legal issues that arise during projects.
  • Maintain regular client communication to secure future business opportunities.
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
  • Experience 10+years as a QS, with knowledge of Reinforced concrete Frames and Structures.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency with relevant software tools.
  • A qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.
