They are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join their Commercial team as Quantity Surveyor.

The role – Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor

This civil engineering contractor are searching for a hard working and driven Quantity Surveyor who is looking to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Based in their Northampton office, you will work alongside their production team, you will ensure the contractual control and cost management across a wide range of projects for the region.

You will be office and site based

You will be joining a team of Quantity Surveyors

You will have exposure to the full project life cycle with involvement from initial enquiry through to project delivery

You will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects relating to the projects, whilst achieving the highest standards ensuring the company’s strong reputation is maintained.

The right person

·GCSE’s Minimum 7 A-C / 5-9 including Maths and English.

·Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor and / or Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

·General Knowledge of contractual terms within construction.

·Excellent PC skills, in particular excel.

·Strong mathematical ability.

·Excellent interpersonal skills.

·Skilled at gathering and interpreting data and information.

·Ability to produce a range of cost value reports
