Title: 2x Method Qualification Scientist (Bioanalysis)

SRG is working on an exclusive partnership with a highly innovative biopharmaceutical partner.

They are looking for a short-term temp/contractor to come in and support the recombinant protein drug delivery programme, in the effort to develop recombinant protein-based vaccines. This role is looking for someone with experience working with SEC-HPLC, and SDS PAGE assays. ELISA, Western blot and qPCR experience is also desirable.

The role is a critical part of the project and is looking for people to start as soon as possible. If you have developed assays in the above techniques and would like to work in a highly innovative company, get in touch.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• To perform laboratory analyses and data analysis on starting materials, intermediates and finished products.
• Perform all Quality Control duties and tasks in accordance with relevant GMP guidelines.
• Perform method development and method qualification activities.
• Calibration and routine monitoring/maintenance of analytical equipment.
• Support the site Quality Management System including input into investigations and/or CAPAs.
• Utilise a range of techniques such as UV Absorption Spectrophotometry, SDS-PAGE, RP HPLC, SEC-HPLC, qPCR, ELISA etc.

Skills Required:

• Educated to a BSc, MSc or PhD level in a Scientific or Engineering related discipline.
• Possess technical expertise with SDS-PAGE, RP HPLC, SEC-HPLC, qPCR, ELISA and Western Blotting. Need at least 3 techniques from this list.
• Method Development experience highly desired.
• GMP experience highly desired.
• Happy to hear from Bioanalytical QC Scientists with the above experience.
