They are looking for an experienced Property Solicitor to join their team, with a focus on residential property matters but also some commercial property experience. We are seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join a team in St Albans. The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential property law, with experience in areas such as conveyancing, sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and lease extensions. Additionally, you will have some experience in commercial property matters, including property development and secured lending. Responsibilities: Handle a caseload of residential property matters, including conveyancing, sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and lease extensions Advise clients on all aspects of residential property transactions Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and title documents Conduct due diligence on properties and identify potential issues Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other professionals to progress transactions Maintain accurate records and manage client files Contribute to the development of the department's practice area and strategy Work collaboratively with other teams within the firm Requirements: 5+ years of post-qualified experience as a Property Solicitor Strong background in residential property law, with experience in conveyancing, sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and lease extensions Some experience in commercial property matters, including property development and secured lending Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Proficient in case management systems and technology On Offer: Salary up to £60k per annum (depending on experience) Hybrid working options (remote and office-based) Opportunities for career development and professional growth Collaborative and supportive work environment Access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities
